Yesterday, our Malaysia customer called and said he had problems about the newly imported RUNMA take out robots.

One problem is regarding the appearance of the robot. One single axis take out robot was dropped on floor while his engineers trying to install it on the injection molding machine. The bottom of electric box was slightly dented. He tole me he was lucky, only appearance of the robot was affected, the robot still functioning well after testing it. I told him to tap the corner of the electric box and try if the shape can be better. If it still looks not good and the customer refuse to take it, our factory will send a new electric box for them to replace.

The other problem is regarding the vertical stroke of the take out robot. He bought 800mm single axis robot for a 280T injection molding machine. After installed, they found the vertical stroke was not enough, need about 50mm more. He asked me if it’s possible to send him materials and he change the arms of the robot by himself. Well, that maybe a way to solve the problem, but not economical because sending the materials to Malaysia takes a lot of time and money, also, his workers need one to two days to change the arms of robot. While price difference of a 800mm take out robot and 900mm take out robot is very small, only few thousands CNY. I told him it’s not worth to replace the arms. Try to use a shorter mounting base if they have stock, the problem might be solved. If still not working, then we will need to change a higher robot and our factory will  try to shorten the delivery so that he can install the new robot asap.
